Mrs. Soon Chooi Mee was appointed to the Board on 10 October 2025 as Independent Non-Executive Director. She holds professional qualification in Quantity Surveying/Standards Development from Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia.

She started her career with the Public Works Department (JKR) as a Quantity Surveyor and served as a dedicated civil servant for more than 30 years until her retirement. During her service, she contributed her expertise in establishing the Quantity Surveying Unit in the Mechanical Branch and was involved in significant upgrading and renovation projects, including the Parliament Building and the Malaysian Hall in London.

She was also seconded to the Sewerage Department under the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation, where she oversaw the development and upgrading of sewerage systems in Malaysia, working closely with Indah Water Consortium.

In addition to her professional duties, she actively served on numerous committees within JKR and external professional bodies, covering areas such as contract administration, consultant appointments, accreditation of local and foreign universities, drafting of the Civil Engineering Standard Method of Measurement (CESMM) with CIDB, as well as the development of Malaysian Standards (MS) for building products and methods.

She does not hold any directorships on other listed companies.

She does not have any family relationships with any Director and/or major shareholder of the Company.
